The second game of Danish developer Playdead is set to steal the show, after the surprising success of its debut game, the eerily beautiful black-and-white Limbo.
Firstly announced during Microsoft’s E3 2014 press conference, the game was under development for a lengthy period, well over five years, yet several adjustments and changes took a bit longer than initially expected, which led to the release date to be delayed to 2016.
Designed for Xbox One, Inside is an exciting 2D platformer, rendered in faded, somewhat experimental hues, featuring a youthful boy entrapped within a puzzling and quite dynamic environment.
Appearing to be quite similar to its forebear, Inside is different through the addition of color and lesser eerie attributes.
