The Future is not what it used to be anymore. Human element takes you 35 years after a zombie apocalypse when the vital resources are limited and your mission is to get rid of the zeds in a fight for survival. The hope of the human population who live in a small faction across the landscape is in you and your team of survivors. Using the materials you have gathered, build fortification and defenses.
You have the option to choose an unique hero according to your playstyle. At the beginning of the game, there are three different characters with different identities and abilities: Survive Alone, Survive with a Partner or Survive with a Young Child. Your choices regarding the character will determinate the scenarios throughout the game.
The details about the gameplay are still kept under the locker, but the game looks promising so far. All we know is that the upcoming game is a semi-strategic Player vs. Player. Director and producer Robert Bowling tweeted “Scripted gameplay in-engine. No CGI. Those were the mechanics and the assets from the game just scripted for trailer.” We also know that you will have to capture certain resources that will give you and your team a buff. These are: food, which will boost your team’s health, guns, whose damaging effect will increase, generator, which will power your defences and reinforcement radio, which will allow your fellow survivors respawn.
The first-person shooter and role-playing game is in development by Robotoki, power by a CryEngine, and it’s going to be released at some point… in the near future, hopefully. It will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows gaming platforms.
