Geeky Curiosities: Lenore the Cute Little Dead Girl

Lenore the Cute Little Dead Girl

Created by former magician and artist Roman Dirge, Lenore the Cute Little Dead Girl stands for the amusing, yet macabre short animated series and comic books built around the central figure, a petite and sympathetic blonde girl. Inspired from the gothic nuances and elements of Edgar Allan Poe’s poem Lenore, the comic book published by Slave Labor Graphics and Titan Books reflects eerie elements and gore comedy, forgiven by the adorable appearance of the fierce little girl.

While the graphic novels can be ordered here, the total of twenty-six animated episodes can be seen full here. A mélange of Growing Up Creepie and Mondo Media’s Happy Tree Friends, the existence of Lenore brought about the knowledge of an uncanny character who enthralls connoisseurs with her dark charm and grim adventures.
