Best Games for Xbox 360 Ever

Best Games for Xbox 360 Ever

The following list includes three awesome, successful games that have been highly rated and offered only positive reviews and scores upon their releases. My descriptions offer you limited information about the games, giving you the opportunity of trying and discovering them on your own.

  1. Grand Theft Auto IV

The game is by far the best game and a love letter dedicated to all the Xbox 360 owners. It is also the American dream for a gamer that the Eastern European Niko Bellic is pursuing in the game. Unlike him, you will seek for it, find it and totally enjoy it. GTA IV is an action-adventure game where you have to complete missions with set objectives in order to move forward throughout the game. When you are not engaged in a mission, you can freely scour the open world of the game and you can also have the ability of completing side missions. The game is set in the fictional city of Liberty City and its world is larger than any other earlier entries. In order to fight the enemies, you will use melee attacks, explosives and firearms and navigate the world on foot, by different vehicles, running, jumping and swimming. If you commit crimes, the law enforcement agencies in the game will mark you as “wanted” and their officers will search for you.

2. Bioshock
The game offers an unpredictable, realistic and innovative first person shooter that you will find addictive. The captivating game is set in 1960 and you take on the role of the protagonist Jack whose airplane crashes in the ocean and eventually gets in the underwater city of Rapture. Although the city was meant to be an isolated utopia, the genetic material called ADAM provoked the city’s decline. The material gave superhuman powers and Jake tries to escape its victims. In order to win the game, you will guided towards various objective through Rapture and you will have to collect various items, weapons and ammunition.

3. The Orange Box
The Orange Box
The Orange Box includes five complete games compiled into one retail unit: Half-Life 2, Episode One and Episode Two, Portal and Team Fortress 2. All of the games feature Valve’s Source engine. Half Life 2 is sequel to Half-Life and introduces new concepts such as physics-based puzzles and vehicle sections. The action takes place in the dystopian environment of the fictional City 7 and you take the role of scientist Gordon Freeman in his attempt to fight against the unfavorable odds in order to survive. Episode One and Episode Two focus as well on the same main character as he encounters new allies. Portal consists primarily of a series of puzzles that have to be solved and received widespread praise along with several Game of the Year awards. Finally, the last game, Team Fortress, focuses on two competing teams that fight each other it order to complete different objectives such as capturing control points or a flag.

Of course, the list can continue as there is plenty of Xbox 360 great games. If you have any suggestion, you are welcome to post it in the comments section below.
